Lallemand Biofuels & Distilled Spirits has a commitment and aptitude for bringing new innovations to market. Training and development programs help to foster team spirit and ensure that new staff members are mentored by our more experienced scientists in all aspects of product research and development. The sharing of ideas across scientific disciplines enables LBDS to continue to build on a tradition of innovation. Our scientists are encouraged to collaborate with peers at research institutions and to share their research in an effort to forward the development and commercialization of any assignment.
Collaboration has led to the introduction of new technology. The TransFerm yeast line is the industry’s first GA expressing and glycerol reducing (increased yield) yeast and was brought to market through the collective efforts of LBDS and Mascoma Corporation.
LBDS is dedicated to providing new innovations and improved products that result in our customers’ efficiency and profitability. We are always looking for the next innovation or the next new development that can enhance production for our customers.
